Ryan Dicken: CEI Technology Helping Fleets Do More, Spend Less and Keep Drivers Focused on Safety

Trevose, PA,  December 5, 2012 – CEI’s current focus is on advancing its technology to help fleet administrators do more, spend less and make drivers safer.  That’s the message Ryan Dicken, a regional sales manager at the CEI Group , Inc., delivers in this week’s featured video on FleetManagementWeekly.com.

“One of the biggest things we’re seeing [in the fleet market] is, ‘How can we spend less and get more,’” Dicken says in the video interview.  As a result, he says “we’re focusing on the ease of our customers’ accessing our systems [and calling up] instant reports on our dashboards.”

As an example, Dicken says CEI is rolling out a capability that enables fleet administrators and drivers access CEI’s online accident and risk management services with just one login on their company intranet.

He also says that CEI has redesigned its online fleet driver interface so that the first thing drivers see is how they rank in terms of risky driving behavior compared to all the other drivers in the fleet, and their most recent driving incidents.  “It almost becomes a self-training tool, because if they can see themselves in a [high] risk level, they know their management is seeing the same thing, so they realize they need to be more cautious behind the wheel.”
